By Southside Insurance Brokers

At Southside Insurance Brokers, we have always believed in giving back to the community that supports us. That is why we are thrilled to announce our official partnership with the Nines Premier League (9PL) as one of the tournament’s major sponsors!

What is the Nines Premier League?

The Nines Premier League (9PL) is Australia’s premier independent 9-a-side rugby league competition. Bringing together former NRL superstars, top-tier grassroots talent, and passionate fans, 9PL delivers high-octane, fast-paced rugby league in a festival-style atmosphere. With major qualifier events across Sydney and Brisbane leading up to the marquee finals, 9PL connects local communities directly to elite-level sports.

Why We Are Partnering

Sports clubs, tournaments, and community organizations face unique operational risks every day—from public liability to participant safety. Supporting local sport goes hand in hand with our core mission: protecting what matters most so businesses, athletes, and fans can focus on the game.

“We are proud to back an organization that brings so much energy and community spirit to local sports,” says Managing Director Sean Rock. “Sponsoring 9PL allows us to actively support fast, grassroots-driven rugby league while strengthening our connection with local communities across New South Wales and beyond.”

What This Means for Our Clients

As part of this partnership, Southside Insurance Brokers will be featured as an official affiliate on the 9PL platform. We look forward to engaging with players, club owners, and supporters throughout the season, helping sporting organizations and local businesses safeguard their future with tailored risk solutions.
